Good folding scooter

I bought the folding mobility scooter. It arrived quickly, about 3 days. It was mostly assembled, just unfolded it. Works well for getting around. Very convenient.

First purchase, worth it

I was looking for an electric trike and found Hoverfly. This was my first purchase from them. I got the electric tricycle with basket and used a first order discount, which saved me a good bit, I think it was $100 off. It made the purchase feel really worthwhile. The trike arrived in a big box, took me about an hour to get it fully ready, but the instructions were clear enough. I've been using it for errands and it handles great. The basket is super useful. Compared to other places I looked, the price here with the discount was definitely the best value for what I got.

Okay value, slow shipping

I ordered a 4-wheel mobility scooter during their spring sale. The price was competitive, especially with the discount I found, which was nice. Shipping took about 8 days to reach me in Florida, which felt a bit long. The scooter itself is sturdy and the battery life on it has been pretty good for my daily use. I did notice the padded swivel seat wasn't as plush as I hoped, a minor detail, but it could be more comfortable for longer rides. Customer service was helpful when I called about a tracking update, so that was a plus.

Thinking of getting one of their folding scooters, but concerned about the quality vs. something like a Pride Mobility. Are they actually good, or just cheap?

I have a 3-wheel from them and it's been solid. Not quite as fancy as some of the Prides I've seen, but for the price, it's really decent. Rides well.

Yeah, I think they're pretty legit. My neighbor got an ebike from them a while back and loves it. Compared to Drive Medical, I think Hoverfly holds up well for the cost.

Does anyone know if Hoverfly usually has free shipping for the big scooters, or is that extra? Trying to factor in the total cost.

N Neil 2 months ago

Most of their scooters ship free, yeah. I got a heavy-duty one last year and didn't pay anything for shipping.

I think it depends on the model. Some of the bigger ones are definitely free, but always worth double checking at checkout just in case. They do have that in their FAQs though, afaik.
